God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth;  that, in your good time, we may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Pastoral Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our tresspasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Benediction: “On Eagles Wings”

And God will raise us up

On eagles’ wings

Bear us on the breath of dawn

Make us to shine like the sun

And hold us, in the palm, of God’s hand
